May made a hard decision to leave the Corporate world somewhere in 2014 to be a caregiver for her dementia mum. It was timely as her mum started having a few falls each year for the past few years.

She has been a yoga practitioner for more than 20 years. In her initial years, she tried Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Hot Yoga and other classes. However, when she was introduced to Iyengar Yoga more than 15 years ago, she fell deeply in love with this form of yoga. Every year, she will travel to India, France and Asian countries to participate in conventions / retreats / workshops to learn from Senior Teachers.

She loves Iyengar Yoga as it's very precise with a focus on alignment and art of sequencing.
